Which language to work with??
Lets Differentiate between C# and PHP.
C# – An object-oriented programming language in development from Microsoft, which is intended to combine the computing power of C++ with the programming ease of Visual Basic.
PHP – PHP is a server-side scripting language designed for web development but also used as a general-purpose programming language.
C# is more widely used in NON-web applications than PHP is used as a general purpose programming language. How many people can say they’ve used PHP for a non-web application? C# is used for Windows phone apps, tools, and even cross platform mobile frameworks (MONO).
One thing that Google does get right is saying C# is an object-oriented programming language where PHP is NOT
ASP.NET beats pure PHP in CRUD development speed, although there are several PHP frameworks that remedy this situation.
PHP can lead you on more opportunities because you will be connect a lot of technlogies. And you have more job in PHP.
Go for PHP if you want to work with cool people and cool stuff. Don’t be a office man and do something interesting. Because PHP can lead you to other language like Nodejs, Hadoop, … A lot of Open Source technology.
C# you will work with Sharepoint, ASP.NET, WCF, SQL Server, Windows Form, WPF. And Business Programming is pretty boring.
